Basically that was what I was trying to get across. I have NOTHING against christians, as I am one myself, but the extreme ends of the spectrum (for both liberals and conservatives) is what hurts this country. I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal so I guess that evens itself out, right?

 

That would make you more of a libertarian (as I am) than a liberal.

 

Maybe so. But I think political affiliation, in general, has gotten to the point where it's getting almost impossible to have a win-win situation, politician-wise. This is getting totally off point, but has anyone read Barack Obama's The Audacity Of Hope? I'm not finished reading it yet, but I'm starting to like his idea of where politics need to be in order for this country to get back on the right path.
