While calling the Iowa-NIU game this weekend on ESPNU, Brian Kinchen commented on the fellow announcer's (possibly? in class, can't dissect who's who very well- it might be a Kinchen monologue) comments that did sound very... touchy feely, caressing the ball and whatnot. There is a moment of silence, Kinchen says, "That's kinda gay." and then immediately realizes his error, and only makes a grunting noise and then they continue. I agree but in all actuality, the word "Queer" might be easier to substantiate since it's literal meaning is odd and that would fit the context of the comment. But again, I agree with you because I've never heard it used in place of "Odd".
i'm sure the two dozen or so gay college football fans who were watching the Iowa-NIU game will be up in arms.

lol hawker. i was commenting more on the fact that there is probably not a large number of errr... alternatively lifestyled fans checking out this game. kinda as if he (kinchen) said it in the middle of a hooters restaurant.
