Historically this forum does have a tendency to be pro-coach but I enjoy differing opinions so- do you. State your feelings, let them state theirs. At the end of the day, we’re all LSU fans talking about kids playing a phuckin game.
Why is it so unreasonable for you to admit LSU, Saint Brian Kelly went to 4-7 A&M, LSU ranked #5, and git his ass handed to him? Why did he say "I have to do a better job, it was my job to have the team ready to play & we weren't ready to play"? <<<<So he says it's his fault. Was he getting a pedicure? Forget that he had a game while engrossed in Walking/Talking Dead soap opera? Are you new to 9-3 seasons?
I blame the players more than the coaches/game plan. On defense we missed way to many tackles. In many instances, our players were in the right place only to have Achane brake thru arm tackles. On offense there were many plays when Daniels had an eternity to find an open receiver and its hard to believe no one was open. Of course we couldn’t see what Daniels was seeing down field, but the issue of Daniels not trusting the receivers to win those 50-50 seems to keep resurfacing.
Looks like LSU 9-3 vs Purdue 8-4 in Citrus Bowl. According to Nick Dias. LSU now ranked #11 AP & #13 Coaches.
Our performance, or lack there of, last night told me we are lacking in upper class leadership. The responsibility to have the team prepared to play isn't entirely on the coaches.
It’s funny. When a good coach gets lesser talent to win, like our win over Bama, it’s great coaching. When we get shit stomped by a 4-7 team, it’s the players. Or maybe it was the coaching the entire time. I don’t subscribe to the notion that elite paid coaches can blame a player or players for an entire game.
