If we get the right OC he should be able to coach up who we have on the roster. I mean look how close we have been without one.

Someone help me out here. What's the big deal about Brennan? He's ranked as the 15th best pro-style QB in the country by Rivals. IIRC, Jarrett Lee was rated in the top-10 when he was recruited. Brennan is a 4 star as was Harris, Lee, Jefferson, Jennings, etc. We've never had trouble finding a 4-star, and there doesn't seem to be anything special about Brennan. Oh, and we already have another 4-star committed.

There is something special about Brennan and LSU hasn't had a QB in years. If LSU was known as a place that produces QBs I'd be less concerned .

Hopefully that will change with a new OC.

Reading the message that @tirk posted, it sounds exactly like a decommitment, not just visiting. I mean, he ended it with God bless--bless our little hearts...

It's a decommitment like when your tell your partner you just need time apart. Or vice versa.

I don't know why the panic. We have Etling another year and I'm pretty sure he'll get better, Harris will likely transfer, McMillan seems serviceable and, while on the short side, isn't Lindsey Scott dual-threat? I'm intrigued by Myles but not ready to throw out Coach O if Myles goes elsewhere. We'll be aight...

DT QB's that have advanced passing skills-going through progressions-reading defenses are few and far between.

Most DT's couldn't stand on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway and throw a football into Lake Pontchartrain!

A lot of LSU fans that follow the Tigers closely are going to be infuriated if we indeed lose Brennan!

Not interested in another Jennings-Harris clone that can't hit the broad side of a barn with a football.

Tua looked like he could zip it pretty good.
