It doesn't matter. He had authority to do whatever he wanted. He could have posted it all to twitter if he wanted and then said tis all declassified like he said it was. The law is written as such to give him that EXACT power.
he can declassify them, we told you this a million times. you wont be able to prove he didnt declassify 100% of the files he has. has no responsibility to announce anything or say anything. how many times do we have to tell you this. you want so bad to get him that you wont listen to reason. the president has massive powers with respect to classified information. he is the boss. the whole system is his to tinker with and monkey with. the files he has were made for him and brought to him for him to do with what he pleases.
Not even trump's own lawyers are stupid enough to claim he had declassified everything. They know they will face stiff legal penalties and professional sanctions for making false statements to the courts. Not once in their filings have they raised that defense. And as a private citizen trump had no right to possess or conceal government-owned documents and government secrets. Even Bill Barr, who ran the DOJ as trump's own hit squad, called the claim that trump declassified all those materials ridiculous.
Its not a claim. Trump came out and said the exact words. Lawyers dont need to waste time on things that are already accurate.
Do you even pause to think before you post? trump declaring to his idiot followers after they were seized that they were declassified seized means squat. Let's hear him say so in court.... we can add perjury to his other crimes.
