if you have talent and make an impression in the tournament you can improve your stock. With davis having another year under his belt, bass could have been the leader of an sweet sixteen or elite eight team. He will be drafted tonight and from all the mocks i've read he will be drafted closer to the top of the second round. eric
i think he will be from mid 2nd or near the higher end of the 2nd. he's too talented to not be drafted. at least i hope.
well wade's 6'4" which isnt short... but at the same time... he's a freak too so it works out... Im pretty sure bogut only has a 7'3" wingspan at a legit 7 feet.
not that i keep up with the NBA or its players but I saw Bogut being officially measured w/o his shoes at the workouts and he was 6'11. not that it really matters.
honest question-would/should he trade one year of nba (bench-riding, possibly) for a guaranteed contract and more money?
no guarantee he would be drafted higher or get more money. just admit you were wrong and be happy for the kid, hotplate. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
you missed the quoted post about it being no big deal if he waited a year and went a few picks higher. oh yea, i was wrong.
People are taking this whole "1st rd pick" thing way out of hand... If you get drafted early in rd 2, you WILL make a team... These teams are obviously not good, and obviously aren't attractive to free agents, so they give all of their draft picks a roster spot. It can be an advantage if you play well, because you get a 1 year rookie contract, so you can make the big bucks sooner. I had been critical on Brandon's decision, but you still have to wish him the best... Geaux Brandon Geaux Hornets
