good point on the 17-2 as a stater SAban fan. I hope in a few weeks it's 18-2 To me Mauch is the key, the defense is un faltering. AND I have lots of confidence in Mauch BUT he is the one thing that can make us or break us. I hope he comes in on the first series Loose and march us down the field and score. An opening score does WONDERS in a big game to calm a QB down and take momentum from the other team.

 

Sure Mauck makes mistakes but so do Greene of Georgia and Manning of Ole Miss. Care to compare the number of games those guys have started vs the experience of Mauck. I saw the Heisman trophy winner make a few misreads and bad throws in the K State game.
Maucks decision making and the defense have us playing for the MNC.
