No, I do not. No that is not. I'm from Denham Springs. Is there a point in all this, or are you enjoying dickering around and hijacking the thread to turn it into something pointless? My main goal is to show LSU fans out there Brady is worthless. You believe that already. What I don't care for is for you to make the statement, and then to toss out insults and violate the User Agreement when people don't agree with or disagree with you. Is that possible? Can we steer this back on task? Or are you going to just keep on going? If so, you'll have the last word...I wonder...Travishamockery, will it be? Burgelflickle? Make it a good one...I hope it's been worth it!
Maybe we have different definitions of perinial. I don't call 7 top 25 finishes in 25 years a perinial top 25 team.
"you and me" also, you should talk, you are one the biggest name-callers around, and you frequently distract the topic with personal issues.
Was LSU a perennial Top 25 program-on the whole-during the Nick Saban era? I would say yes, and most would agree...ESPN.com writers and collegefootballenws.com writers would and have in print, as well... This is amazing, considering that in '00 and '02, LSU finished outside of the Top 25! 7/25=1 out of 3.5 years...2/5=1 out of 2.5 years... Not much difference, yet two diverging opinions...How is this explained? LOL!
I apologize for being a thread bully and a lude beast. I have decided to only post intelligent, appropriate comments or not post at all--which means you won't here from me again, probably. My only request is to obtain two little green rep squares under my name. If I get two little green rep squares I can sit back in style, and only post intelligent comments--if that should ever come to pass. Thank you & sincerely, Frogleg, Heavenly Village (Stateline), Nevada
We were unranked in the other poll...so it's a tit for tat statement...and by your tacit dodging of the question, you make my point for me...Thanks.
Don't let the door hitcha where the Good Lord Splitcha... What an amazing loss...The level of discourse I mentioned earlier will truly be lessened by your absence...
Not dodging, just pointing out your error. Also even discounting 2000 we still made it 3/5. To adress your original question the difference is that Saban's teams were top 25 60 or 80 percent of the time. Brown's were top 25 28 percent of the time. I don't intend to defend Brady by the way, I just think this Dale Brown hero worship is really dumb.
I think he's a legend...and save for Pete Maravich, he's the singlemost reason that LSU was at one point a one trick pony, as in a basketball school. I know you're not defending Brady, but I'm just wondering...How old are you? I'm not going to say you're immature or anything like that...Hell, I'm 26...Just wondering... I think a lot of fans of LSU Basketball who are around my age don't remember those years and how nationally recognized we were during the Dale Brown Golden Age...
