This is a simple, plain fact. I find it overly ironic that mediocrity is being mentioned for our current team, yet two decades of 0 championships (oooh, but some Final 4's! whoopity doo) with remarkable talent is NOT simply mediocre. Very curious logic. I don't care for the "fire the coach" mantra at this point in the season. The team is winning, and you're not going to improve any situation by firing a coach during the season like this. Simmer down, and address it after the season.

You're a complete revisionst historian? Zero Championships? What about the '01 LSU Football campaign? Was that a failure even though we won a conference crown and a BCS Bowl game? Final Fours are success at the highest level. Boheim at 'Cuse has only won one national championship, but will be judged one of the mater's of the collegiate game upon retirement because he's been an amazingly consistent winner throughout his entire career. Same with Keady at Purdue. Wildly successful, though hit or miss on the highest levels. Even with Glenn Robinson and other top talents, he could never put it all together. Same with Roy Williams at Kansas...and so far at UNC as well... Bottom line...It's amazing how predictable the Brady supporters are...Even SabanFan was "turning to the dark side" during the dark days, but just when the pressure's on Brady to save his job, his team goes on a run in the mid-season... Never fear, though, for the Butt Munch Lunch Bunch will be back supporting their man and harkening back to this small streak when we sputter down the stretch against top teams, and run out of gass and gag away wins, in true Brady fashion... We'll hear them start up the band when the conference Tournament starts, because with a few days off, the Tiger's will rebound and have fresh legs to go on a one or two-game winning streak, to squeak into a low seeding in the NCAA Tournament, only to probably get beaten in the 1st round... Or even richer, we'll get a High NIT bid, win two or three games, maybe host one or two, and people will think he's a Messiah for having love-starved LSU Basketball Fans excited over kissing their sister in the NCAA's red headed stepchild post-season tournament... Bottom line...The normal predictable arc of a John Brady LSU Men's Basketball Season makes its path across the LSU Sports landscape...Only instead of running out to a fast start, the early season decent schedule exposed once again a poor Brady team, and even had his biggest supporters questioning not only attrition and results, but even COACHING philosophy and ability. A mid-season run of good play-even in the face of having its collective ass handed to it by only mid-level Top 25 talent like Kentucky & Alabama-has them all out crowing and hooting and huzzahing at his feet again... The late season swoon will see most of them shut their traps and wait with baited breath the little mini-run we'll make to squeak to something not quite near mediocrity, so they can hang their hats on the manna from heaven and tell us all it's Ruth's Chris' finest... Yawn....
