That is just the problem, we can't even enjoy games anymore so we revert to football or talking about the baseball season to come or the girls bb team!

It is so bad right now my parents have season tickets to both the men and womens games and haven't missed a girls game yet and haven't been to a guys game yet! That is a sad day in LSU mens bb.

    Drum roll please.....

    I agree. It's time for a change.

But if any of you think LSU will ever reach a position of perennial dominance in basketball; forget it. It's never going to happen.

For now, support the players who wanted to come here and be a part of the P&G.

Misleading. Let's see the percentage of players who stayed 4 years and graduated. You can't take a guy who transferred after one or two years and count that toward those stats.

i think basketball is quite possibly one of the easiest programs to turn around. get two or three qulaity players and keep the good la. players in-state.

maybe not perrennial dominance but competing for the SEC every year along with making the dance shouldn't be TOO much to ask.

And to think, he was on top of the world when he brought us to the Final Four. That monkey is still riding on his back. It appears the monkey is getting ready to bite him in the @ss. I really don't have an informed opionon of him as a head coach, I just hate to see any LSU sport in shambles.

I wholeheartedly disagree that it could never happen, and I'm sick of hearing people say LSU can't be anything more than a football (and possibly baseball again) school. Can anyone honestly tell me that Florida was anything but a football school until Billy Donovan came along? Last time I checked they're the 2-time defending NC.

Fan support is a 2-way street. If LSU is serious about getting fans to sell out the PMAC on a regular basis, then LSU needs to show it is committed to creating and maintaining a top program, similar to what Emmert did after the DiNardo era with football. If a team starts winning, and winning consistently, fans will take notice. Sure, most will initially be bandwagon fans, but that's simply reality. But if LSU is satisfied with a mediocre program, expect mediocre support. While I will always support LSU athletics and the players who do work hard, why should the average fan part with their hard-earned money for season tickets if LSU isn't serious about putting together a quality program?

True...yet it brings up yet another reason why Brady should go. One of the reasons that they are so pitiful this year is because of people transferring!:po: Besides...we're talking about 11 years here. Don't tell me so many transferred, went pro early, ect...that only 13 had the opportunity to graduate.

"Davis, predictably, announced his entry to the NBA Draft after his junior season. But two other Tigers, junior guard Ben Voogd and junior forward Magnum Rolle, transferred after the 2006-2007 season, simply saying LSU was not the place for them.

So now Brady was not only failing to replenish the talent pool with recruits, but he was also losing players at an extremely high rate. Seven players that started the 2005-2006 season on the LSU roster either went pro or transferred - that list includes four of the eight players who saw action in the loss to UCLA
    ."
