I'm glad we don't have those refs tonight. I think they wanted the upset to happen they deffinetly weren't calling it both ways. Milwauke couldn't miss a 3 in the first half. Man they were just throwing stuff up there and getting it to fall.

Before today, they'd never won a tournament game in school history, yet you and several others (allegedly) had the forsight to think today was their big day. Whatever. UMM yes you can go back and check on another thread BUT I did pick that Montanna would beat Washignton and I picked SLU will beat OK St so if that happens I would like to see you get on your knees begging for forgivness, shoting for all the world to hear " YOU are UNWORTHY" and No nothing of the laws of chaos and can not fill out a bracket to save your life.
Not that I can prove it to you, but I've been talking about this one for a few days with my coworkers. In an interview, UWM's coach said "We don't think Alabama could handle our press". I thought that was a ballsy ass thing to say in a press conference, and I decided to let them have my 12-5 upset special pick. Guess what? UA couldn't.

i picked em on one bracket for those reasons and I like Bruce Pearl who is their HC. Hes a regular on this one radio show and the guy is just very likeable. He said they dont have the horses to stay with Bama so of course they were gonna run and play loose. He said their guard McCants can literally hit 4 of 10 from 40 feet in practice and hes free to fire it up as long as its past the timeline. so yes, fanatic get off your little soapbox and deal with the fact people pick upsets. its luck if LSU wins and you picked them too. get over yourself. lol
Figured it would be close because of all the talking heads hyping them (usually 1 or 2 'unknowns' every year that are legit and get props)...but I had not seen them play so it's hard to pick them against a team I've seen like Bammer. I picked the tide, but have them losing in the 2nd round...so not such a huge bust.
No soapbox here dude. Do you honestly think I don't realize that people pick upsets all the time. It's not that I believe people can't pick upsets, it's the people who pick them then pretend they KNEW it was going to happen. I have all kinds of upsets on my sheets (UWM was not one of them). I'm just smart enough to realize that if they do happen, it's more luck than any handicapping skill or a special knowledge that I have that other's don't.
