How ironic would it be to see Gonzaga the GREATEST of all Upset Artist to play in the tourny get upseted themselves.
They really arent THAT good! they just got a Great team for a Mid-Major... so they win all their games in their weak conference, so they maintain a high ranking and a high seed. In the SEC, they are Vanderbilt
These teams that make it to the tourney out of their weak conference are not much worse than the Gonzaga team that made it out of their weak conference. Gonzaga just gets the respect and the high seed because they've pulled off a few upsets in the tourney before. The talent on the Gonzaga team is not near that of the other number three seeds in the tournament. But, with all that said, I'm rooting for the Zags, how can you not?
Thats pretty acurate. I was in the field for the entire first weekend last year. We were all pissed at our commander for that one.
