Some are projecting LSU in the Cotton Bowl playing friggin Nebraska. That matchup does not excite me one bit.
Of course, if Nebraska wins the re-match with Texas in the Big 12 CG (and they certainly could), we would play Texas. I think most of us wouldn't mind that match-up. However, yesterday's weather up here was a perfect example of why you wouldn't want to play in Dallas (temp in the mid-40's with 40-50 mph north winds--it was brutal).
So you are saying that the Big East Champ goes to the Orange Bowl i thought that the Big East was tied to the Sugar Bowl? What i heard is the conference champ goes to the bowl that it is origanlly tied to and cannot be picked up by a different bowl. (ex. UF wins SECC but does not go to the BCSCG it goes to the Suger Bowl and connot be picked by the Rose)
The Big East and ACC share the Orange Bowl. The conference champ not selected to the Orange gets to go to another BCS bowl. EDIT: That's wrong. The ACC is the Orange Bowl tie-in and the Big East gets to go to any BCS Bowl, except Rose.
Sorry, I sort of butchered that post. Orange - ACC vs at-large Sugar - SEC vs at-large Rose - Pac 10 vs Big 10 Fiesta - Big 12 vs at-large The Big East doesn't have a tie-in to any bowl.
