I am interested to see whether UGA gets the #2 SEC bid or not. Granted, they went to the Citrus last year but if UT losses by a lot to Auburn, that would give them 3 losses with UGA holding 2 losses.

Not sure if that extra loss matters though....still a bit confused on the whole bowl picking process

This is not true. The SEC does not tie in a team's finish with any particular bowl, except for the Sugar Bowl.

    SBC Cotton Bowl (Dallas, Texas)

according to Charles Hanagriff The Capital One is is leaning towards a 9-2 LSU over a 9-2 UGA.

That'd be tight, but Wisconsin's choke job put Michigan on the road to the Rose Bowl.

Then again, I'm sure Ohio St would love to change that, assuming they don't get all their players arrested or too busy taking money from boosters to suit up and play against Michigan.

Every, every time I hear someone going on about how awesome Braylon Edwards is, I think of his drop of that sure TD early in last year's Rose Bowl.

Can't take the guy seriously as a big time player as a result, and I don't care if he goes to the Hall of Fame in the pros. Big time players play big in the biggest games, period, end of story.

You're forgetting the Music City Bowl...

If I remember right the Capitol One is not obligated to take the #2 team if that teams doesn't have nine or more wins. The same scenario applies to the Cotton Bowl for the Big 12 representative. If a nine win Georgia is available I'd say the Capitol One is likely to have them - especially if they can have them square off against a 10-1 Wisconsin. The Outback and Cotton battling over Tenn & LSU seems like a no brainer of which way that would go. The Peach, Music City and Independence will have to wait to see who will get whom between the Gators, Gamecocks and Tide. And if the Hogs win out then they'll get thrown in that mix as well. The Houston Bowl is praying the Piggies win out so the SEC will fill all their tie-ins.

Meeshigan is undefeated in the Big Ten(lone loss was to Notre Dame) and with a win against Ohio St. will go to the Rose Bowl. The Badgers are the likely opponet in the Capital One. I'd like our matchup with Wisconsin(two 1 dimensional teams battling it out).

well i guess u didnt' see the michigan-michigan state 3OT thriller a couple weeks ago
edwards had 11 catches for 189 yards and 3 TD's, and is the onyl reason michigan came back to win. At the end of the game all Henne did was chuck the ball up into the endzone, and everytime, Braylon made the catch, mich was down 17 with 5 minutes left, and edwards made to circus catches in the endzone to tie the game up and he got the game winner, and this was against a big time rival, how can u not consider him a big time player? he's been doin this all year. in my opinion he has the best hands of any WR in the nation, and i've seen him play in person at the Big House

Hey, don't forget that Stanton went out with an injury. I think MSU would have had a better chance with a healthy Stanton, but Edwards did have an awesome game, so maybe UM would have won anyways. But those catches were awesome. You figured that once the game went into OT, UM was going to win.

It'll come down to the winner of the Iowa/Wisconsin game if UM beats OSU. I think Iowa will win. But, Iowa has no running game. Three backs have been out with injuries. I think LSU or the SEC team would have a better chance against Iowa.
