The limit from the bowl game is $500. There are additional things that the NCAA allows which will be missed out on. (JR must have missed out last year when he stayed at home to rehab) I was told that the $350 from AU would be things like pants, shoes, jackets, Your players have to look nice for the media. Many players also pool their travel so they can keep the cash for Christmas money. A trip to the Rose would have paid off big for the LSU players.

1.) $400-$450 of Travel Money (0.485 per mile from Atlanta/Lagrange to Dallas)
2.) close to $500 in per diem and meal money
3.) bowl gifts provided by Auburn valued at $350
4.) bowl gifts provided by the Cotton Bowl valued at $500

That Longest Yard DVD alone would make those August two-a-days worth it for me. :hihi:

Maybe someone should suggest to the Outback bowl that they give out 'The Longest Yard' DVD to theTennessee players so they can see what their life will be like after college.
