Nah man I got some Oban, Macallen 12, now I will say, Monkey Shoulder is probably the best tasting stuff I’ve had. But just because they taste different doesn’t mean they don’t all taste like shit.

Manhattan. Made with a good rye whiskey. served not straight up but with a big chuck of ice in a bullet glass. That is the shit right there.

Why do you "suspect you know the answer"? To answer your question: yes, I've tried Crown and a lot of others "on the rocks", but not with a splash of water. As I said, I don't drink as much any more. These days if I do have one, I mix them pretty weak.
