If I lived in Louisiana I wouldn't bother with it, but I live in Florida so anything is better than nothing. Savoie's is much better than Manda or some stuff I can get here that's made in Georgia. I think what I miss most of all is tasso. I have got to make friends with the Winn Dixie manager...
I disagree with you. Manda boudin is pretty good for a big company boudin. In general, I am disappointed with all of Savoie's products.
