I did'nt see anybody on the forum condoning throwing things from the stands. The point of my response was that you should'nt throw anything, but their is a difference between say, an empty glass beer bottle and a empty plastic beer bottle.

Bottle throwing at a saints game is justified!! They suck!! Just kidding. But when anyones team is winning the national championship game, i can't imagine why they would throw anything. Also with the security inside and outside the dome, you would think someone would have a video of the crowd. If anyone at the game saw high up in the end zone area where the teams came out, to the right there was a plexi glass box , that held about 8 to 10 secret service police monitoring the crowd. I know its a very small chance, but i wish there was a video to identify the idiot who threw it. Just another one of my crazy thoughts.
    what's up dheadtiger ?

Anyone throwing bottles or cups should have their arse whipped, plain and simple. If they didn't learn sportsmanship at an early age, they should be taught. Now, with that said, there are some that want to take that many steps further, and eliminate taunting opposing fans, etc., which I don't agree with. If everyone did that, we'd be as boring as usc.

What really blew my mind was that they were selling beer at an NCAA event, even thoiugh the bottles were plastic. Anytime you do that, you're going to have idiots that do things they might not normally do at a game. The same types are the ones responsivble for no beer/alcohol in Tiger Stadium anymore, except of course in the suites (allegedly).

There seems to be a lot of debate about where the "bottles" came from. Most posts I have seen claim they came from the OU section. I was watching the post game when the talking heads were complaining and I couldn't tell and they didn't say where they came from. There is a reason it is illegal to sell alcohol to little kids, they just can't handle it. If you can't drink without throwing your bottles, plastic or otherwise, then maybe you should wait a few years before popping a top on a cold one JMO.

It looked to me like they came from the OU section, but who knows. I doubt seriously you would find the culprits hanging out on Tigerforums, at least I would hope not.

It goes on in the student section at every game. As soon as we score a TD the cups/bottles start flying. I wish these kids would grow up and realize that it isn't cool. We throw more people out for throwing things than we do for being drunk.

I incited this rebellion in protest of ABC's BS & one-sided USC love affair and started the entire incident ...

by being the first rabid howling drunk throwing empty shot sized liquor bottles at ABC's crew.

The rest followed a natural leader just caught up in the foment of the moment.

I stand tall in defiance of the anarchy by ABC directed against LSU ... now and forever.

I am thoroughly disgusted that it did not snowball inside and outside of the dome into a full fledged riot where ABC equipment and vehicles were burned.

    hmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

We were prepared to go to war and lose thousands of lives to get to those bastids ...

And, if any of you in here wanna talk bad about our just cause, then I say unto you ... you are indicting freedom ... freedom of just recourse and speech for having suffered injustice at the hands of those pricks ... well, I for one am not gonna listen to you put down Freedom and the good ole US of A.

    hmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

You bought it this time, Buster!

No, they did say that it was LSU fans throwing the bottles, watch it again.
