Meanwhile all the vendors cash in. Never act like a high-roller in Vegas. It's expensive and the casino professionals will target you and they know exactly how to fleece you on and off the gambling floor. Me, I own some casino stocks with a high yield and I get a piece of the action. You can have a ball in Vegas without tossing out that kind of cash. I gamble just enough to get some routine comps and then enjoy myself.
I would think most parties getting bottle service order vodka because a lot of women don't like scotch or bourbon. Can you get a bottle of anything you want if you order bottle service. If my party was only men I would want some very expensive scotch but it there were women then expensive champagne.
I used to play blackjack until I learned how to play craps and now it doesn't even compare. I will sit at a blackjack table usually during the day if the tables aren't hopping but once you hear that roar you know its time to go. Craps are still some of the best odds in the house and back in the day you used to be able to find $2 tables. Now maybe downtown but definitely not on the strip. Last time I was there you could still play 10X odds on some tables. Are you telling me that is gone?
It's not really gone. Hell casino royale may still have the 100x odds. I think the older dingier casinos will have better odds but Steve Wynn just changed his casino to 2x odds and therefore most of the big boys will follow. The trend of 6 to 5 on an 8 deck shoe of blackjack has really taken off though. And I like craps too. I just can't afford to play it long. My style is basically an all in style that has me either swimming in it or out of my buy in within 10 minutes.
play a 100 dollar hand blackjack for half a night and break even yet you will get all your shit comped. acting like a sorta high roller is exactly how you get shit. your cards wont change because of it. you just gotta not lose which isnt too hard. they dont rate you on wins or losses, just how much you're betting. they figure they win in the long run. thats why you do it in the short run and hope to get lucky. and doing that for one night gets you in the system and they mail you free rooms and free money forever more. that blows. tight tables in vegas is bad business. thats why you never stay anywhere but downtown. craps is fun but much more difficult to manage your money than blackjack. i can count cards but its so boooring. playing smart and grinding is not nearly as fun, especially if its a vacation.
Two things, if you can count cards then craps should not be difficult for you to manage your bankroll If I can do it, then you should have no problem managing your bankroll at a craps table. Your ADD must be worse than mine.
of course I can. back to the having fun mantra. craps is a blast. im not trying to grind out 12 dollar 6s and 8s. Im 5 dolla yo'n up in this bitch, pass lining and hardways every other roll.
