Ahh, good, some said the same about Miles last year. I have a 12 year old daughter who pitches, we'll talk about that later. I want to pick your brains about yours in the college ranks. :thumb:
I prefer to bide my time in silence with regard to this issue. I sense that, in this case, the enemy will destroy himself from within. Time is not on his side. LSU! :crystal:
My daughter is 12 too. We just went down and watched Bama vs. LSU last year and I saw Emily pitch. I do know a little about pitching though. My daughter took lessons from Bama's pitching coach, Vann Studeman for six years so I picked up a thing or to. We chat later. I'd love to talk softball any time.
We paid about a half dozen different men for about forty-five years to do the job and they didn't. He has been gone two years and we haven't won an SEC Championship despite having the best talent in the league. If LSU was so magical why didn't those other guys do the job. We are still benefitting from his forethought, planning, and hard work. You may tell yourself enough times and and may believe that Nick Saban was a shelfish liar, but if you do be honest enough not to brag to opposing fans about our past seven years of glory. I appreciate what he did and wish him the best at his new job. I hope Miles can keep it going. I enjoy being at the top with a chance to win the conference every year.
I can get over him being a liar. Hell, I can forgive him for leaving LSU. I am thankful for the time he spent in Death Valley. However, he is now the coach at Bama. I am not a fan of the coach at Bama, regardless of who is in the position. IMO Saban is dead to me! And I would say the same thing of any relative or friend of mine if they ever took a job on a rivals sideline.
As much as Shula had his limitations, he was also handed a real mess to clean up. Shula did a pretty decent job of riding out the probation and he also avoided any further controversies. Regardless of only being 2 games over .500, he did leave the program in better shape than when he arrived. Shula has nothing to be ashamed of.
Winning seasons 11 years before Saban: total of 3 97 9-3 96 10-2 95 7-4-1 6 seasons before this were losers, 2 from archer and 4 from Hallman (what were we thinking keeping him around so long) These are the good old days!
