    Same guy that wrote Shutter Island and Mystic River. He has also done a few tv show episodes as well, and has another series I'm about to start, which is about another private dick during the prohibition era, the Coughlin series, which jumps from Boston to Tulsa, to Y'bor City, and the 2nd book Live By Night is being adapted to a movie directed by Ben Affleck starting Leo DiCaprio. 3 book series.

    I never read that one. I did read Mystic River though and it was awesome.

    Hated shutter Island the movie. I dl the others however.

    I didn't like it either, book is probably much better.

    I didn't see the movie. The book was pretty good but if you've seen the movie probably a waste of time now

    had to explain to the chick i was with what happened. everything was quite obvious was it not. nevermind, the movie was so stupid i can see now how it was confusing. i hated it. because i hate stupid endings.

    Currently reading American Psycho... the level of violence, depravity, and, strangely enough, hilarity is far beyond when is portrayed in the movie.
