"Only one point-of-view is being peddled" FOX is not in lockstep with CNN etc, they always sell their own spin on things.

Both parties and both ends of the media shtick are causing real damage

Fox is a special cause, not common cause. You cannot point to them and suggest they dictate the media message. The majority of the mainstream media, internet, and social media, is in lock step to make Trump the cause of all bad things.

FOX is the MSM's big dog, don't pretend they're not a major force.

Really GDF .... Fox News is a lone wolf compared to the Combined AP, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, WaPo, NYT, Yahoo, Google, etc etc etc etc.

Yes, they are big, but half there stuff is reporting on what the real MSM folk are saying.

They play to an audience the rest of the MSM destains. If the rest of the media were not so biased Fox wouldn’t be so big. Remember Fox wasn’t the first of the MSM but a response to the increasing leftist bias of the rest of the media.

Of course they are a player. They don't begin to dictate the national media message. If they rep Trump, then CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, Google, Twitter, and Facebook are all anti-Trump Hillary butt lickers. Social media is becoming a major influencer of election outcomes. Twitter is massive in reach, appeal, and CEO Jack Dorsey is CLEARLY one-sided.

Read this comment Dorsey had on a recent article....

"Author and media consultant Peter Leyden and political commentator Ruy Teixeira argued in the article titled “The Great Lesson of California in America’s New Civil War” that America is already in the midst of a second major domestic conflict of sorts and the way out is for the rest of the country to imitate California.

“In this current period of American politics, at this juncture in our history, there’s no way that a bipartisan path provides the way forward,” they wrote. “The way forward is on the path California blazed about 15 years ago.”

Essentially, the authors called for a complete marginalization of the Republican Party and its voters since they only care “about rule by and for billionaires at the expense of working people” and not “average citizens.”

California, despite its mass wealth inequality, growing lack of social cohesion, poverty, and soaring housing costs “provides a model for America as a whole,” according to Leyden and Teixeira."

    Further.....

"Federal records reveal 80 percent of Twitter’s corporate PAC contributions in the 2018 election cycle have gone to Democratic candidates, none of whom are moderates. Liberal Democrats also got top dollar in the 2016 race.

The lobbying records I reviewed, moreover, show Twitter has sought to influence Congress and federal agencies on behalf of Democratic causes and against President Trump’s policies.

Vice News last month broke the story that Twitter limited the visibility of Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and several Republicans leading Hill investigations into the Obama administration’s efforts to spy on the Trump campaign, including Reps. Devin Nunes (Calif.), Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Jim Jordan (Ohio), Mark Meadows (NC) and John Ratcliffe (Texas).

San Francisco-based Twitter blamed it on a search-engine filter deployed against “bad” actors, such as racists, trolls and users inciting violence, which it maintains accidentally ensnared Republicans, while curiously failing to affect any Democrats."
