It is a very big deal, depending on what was in the email. There is a reason there are protocols for how email communications are to be conducted.

She stored the email server at her house. This is a lot more than "another" password issue.

You're ignore things like security of the nation's interests and the accountability of those who serve us among others. There is no way her personal email was as secure as the State Department's. What is the Iranians or Russians or even our allies were reading her emails and learning the path the discussions between her, the president and others was taking. It would give them a big advantage over us. Something that could damage the USA significantly
Also aren't you a big believer in the accountability of those in office? Well she has total control over her emails through vital and critical times. In essence she may not let you know anything but what she wants you to. The truth be damned.
This seems to be a serious matter. There is more to learn before a real judgement can be made but it doesn't look good.

Indeed. We need to know what kind of "business" it was and how much of it. There are legitimate reasons to have a private email account. If she used the private email to conduct public business regularly its a problem. But it certainly is hard to see how it could remain unnoticed for years if all of the people she did business with were getting the emails. State Department IT people had to have been aware.

There are a number of politicians who have used private email to try to stay off the record, Romney and Palin among them. Some of that is legitimate, but some is clearly not. If she was trying to avoid leaking preliminary data, then that was not the right way to do it. If she was trying to evade oversight, then she broke the rules. They will end up analyzing her server and backup drives and sorting it all out.

It just means she has a computer guy who has maxed out her computer security. Private email servers are not uncommon for people with security issues and not terribly hard to set up for IT guys.

Yeah because I'm sure the Russians were able to do a lot with the information of her making her staff get Chinese for lunch. She said release the emails, there will be nothing in them, move on...

Of course I do. If there is something in those emails that is a detriment to national security, fine... But I bet there isn't, and until they prove there is, this is just another way to deflect from real issues and try throw as much shit at a wall as possible and pray something sticks.

Sort of. Is there some smoking gun? Doubtful, at least I'd hope someone that is probably going to be the next POTUS would be smarter than that. I just wouldn't write off the break from procedure so quickly. It is a breech of security regardless of what was in the email.

That is the curious thing. Hillary is pretty smart. She knows there is not going to be a Benghazi smoking gun in those emails. It wasn't a secret and she let the State Department archive them. But she had to have a reason for doing it this way and I suspect it may have been to keep the seriously anti-Clinton Obama White House staffers from reading her mail in real time.
