If you acknowledge they both do it, what is the point in calling just one side out?

This is all about keeping the crazies on the right in the fold. The gop doesn't have the votes and they know it, just playing the public.

The big issue is that the Senate Republicans can't get a Homeland Security funding bill passed that includes defunding Obamigration. If they pass a clean bill then the House will have to eat crow. It is not always fun just having a simple majority in Congress. It can make leaders look weak.

At this point, they have the recent support of a judge to move forward on fighting Obama's immigration legislation so they need to remove this shit from the budget. Enough already of making thousands of employees wonder about how they will pay the bills next month.

It's amazing. They keep trying to make a political point to their own base which has already swallowed it. Meanwhile they just strengthen the resolve of the left and continue to make the moderates doubt GOP motives. Obama can't run again, he's a lame duck. They waste political capital continuing to bash Obama instead of looking forward to 2016? Next up is trying to abolish Obamacare before a new President takes ownership of it. It's going to be ugly and the Republicans will continue to be the party of No when they should be trying to get a Republican in in the oval office. The democrats need to play this smart, but I don't expect them to do so.

Certainly the majority in the Senate is not enough to push through a bill and not enough to override a veto like the Keystone pipeline. Obama will continue to issue executive orders such as the bullet ban and amnesty (to bypass Congress) and let the courts make the decisions, which favors him after 6 years of court appointments. What do the Republicans do with a simple majority in Congress? We will have to see what the public decides after two years with these circumstances.
