I'm an assistant here in Central Alabama as High School coach. I coach the LB's and the DL. Sometimes we sub all 11 out and send a new 11 in to play a few series. If the Coach feels like he isn't getting the effort or intensity out they come. We will play the 4th string if we feel as though not 100% effort from our starters. We believe in pulling play time. If they don't want to listen or maximize effort, the best way to punish them is let them sit on the bench until they do.
I'm not the head coach but we have done it twice on the offense in 4 games so far. Once for 2 series and in another game against a rival. We only scored 1 TD in those possessions but the players know if you give 100% and mess up that's one thing but not giving effort all out every play will cause someone to play that will.
I was really just picking. I was part of a staff that had to keep a QB out for disciplinary purposes. That was a long time ago but I still remember what that feels like.
To put it simply, the man has zero moral character. You might say, "so what?" to that. But there's an old saying, "You lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas." This is the kind of man who lands a program on probation, or with some other mess to clean up. It's not just that he couldn't keep his dick in his pants, it's that he was boning a girl who he'd hired and secretly gave $20,000 of school money to. He quit on the Atlanta Falcons by leaving behind a note! Louisville hired him back when his name was mud, and if he left to chase another payday, it would be the ultimate scumbag move in a career filled with them.
