Maybe that is true. I will continue to support him because he is our head coach. Whether or not anyone here likes him is meaningless. He did walk out for the "handshake". Did Dooley walk out last year?
I watched the MS state/Arky game. I felt bad for the cowbells but thought to myself 'that's football. Cheers to the pigs for the big win'
You are very thoughtful here. I agree. You coaches and team had to deal with the passing of a very young teammate during the week. I can excuse your coach and Razorback fans for being a bit tough to deal with during and after the game because of the tragedy of that young man's passing. I hope that this conversation about what Petrino did or didn't do and what Miles did or didn't do will soon end. Miles wasn't trying to diss anybody. Coach Petrino did say some bad words, but, we can excuse that in light of the situation and move on. There should not be any bad blood between LSU and Arkansas because of anything that happened during or after the game. It was a hard fought game. The kids all played a clean game, there were no fights and nobody took any cheap shots trying to hurt an opponent. Sure, LSU and Arkansas will always try to whip each other's butt in football and all other sports. That's part of NCAA competition. None of that is a reason for any bad blood between these two SEC programs, LSU and Arkansas. I hope that the Razorback nation realizes that no LSU player or coach was trying to diss anybody.
:geaux: Here's a good read, and some of the comments after the article are hilarious. :hihi: :LSU231: LSU flexes muscle in runaway win | The Slophouse
1001 Is there anyone in football, college or NFL that is known more for running it up on opponents than Petrino? Just a personal opinion from what I've seen in the media over the years about Petrino, but he is a first class scumbag. I hadn't really given it much thought until now, but between the behavior of Hog fans and Petrino, I can't think of an SEC team that I despise more. Sorry to the good Hogs fans that are joining us now after the game, obviously you aren't part of those groups.
How 'bout if we had started our third string? I think the outcome would have been the same-maybe not the score--but the W!!!!! --And that's not stupid bragging; our reserves step up--every time that they are asked. An announcer mentioned it a few weeks ago--that you could sub any of our #2, #3, etc players for one another and get the same result! You'd only know there had been a sub if you saw different numbers on the jerseys! But, NOOOOOO! All our opponents beat themselves!!!! ROTFLMAO!:hihi:
Calling him a scumbag is paying him a compliment. And Arkansas is rapidly moving to the top of my list also. Unfortunately, Hog fans like MaconBacon are a small minority.
