TejasTiger's title is the only place which says the fans are "stupid". Pellini never said such a thing & you guys are getting WAY to upset about the fact he said you basically don't know what you are talking about. Bo didn't say, "You are stupid & I am God." Bo didn't say he was above criticism. Bo simply stated that he is the Defensive coordinator, who knows his job & that you can't completely understand the situation from your couch...

Also, what happened to people who said that after what this team & state had been through, they wouldn't criticize them? Supposedly, we were going to understand if the team didn't perform up to our expectations because this was such a tough way to start the season. I guess that went out the window.

Well what are we suppose to do during the Idle State game. I mean RP is gonna redshirt so there is no point of making fun of the blowup doll.

Ramah is off riding around in Blackhawks and airboats, saving little ole ladies out of trees and goldfish from their flooded fish tanks!

Persoanlly I agree with you with the mindset of the game we played as well as can be expected.

BUT isnt more fun to stir the pot! :hihi:

Your going to have to be a little more blunt with your humor next time. With all these mormons running around like it the end of the world, statements such as yours are going to be lost on those of us trying to determine the posters that are REALLY that thick from those that are just mocking them :hihi: .

Well then disregard my post your post was sarcastic, but at first glance it sure doesn't come off as sarcastic IMO. In fact, even after reading it twice it still doesn't. Maybe it's just me.

Hopefully, Bo knows what he's doing. He at least deserves more than one game.

Remember the Ole Miss game during the '01 season? I imagine the same crowd was there yelling about what an idiot Saban was running the same plays over and again.

Thats the beauty of it. :hihi:

Persoanlly my true feelings on the matter is the fact that with everything added up we played just like we should have.

Will it get better more than likely, the only reason i say that is because this isnt the Big 12 and style of play is different here. But with his stats as a coach he should be smart enough to figure it out.

The only reason these knukleheads get on here at the begining of the season is so that at the chance that He does fail, then they can come on and gloat and feel good about themselves.

But isnt it funny watching people get so damn UPSET about something they have no control over!

This was your first game. az st. had already had their first game. Maybe the old "truism" that the biggest improvement is between the 1st and second game is at play. Pelini's scheme is different, but certainly it is not designed to let offense run amuck.

Didn't you have 2 corners drafted in the 2nd and 4th rounds last year (Webster and Daniels) and a DE go in the 1st (Spears)? They all had backups who have to grow into their roles. That in itself could be part of the reason you saw more yardage given up. There is a BIG difference in a starter who is drafted and a backup, no matter how talented. It is all in the reps, that is where you get the confidence to press hard when you play D. You run new corners in any scheme and they will play soft or get burned by people like Hagan. And if you don't have Spears, putting on the pressure from the outside is more difficult. More time for the QB to pick on those new corners.

You brought back a lot, the drop off should be small. But what you did lose wasn't just ordinary players. Give the backups time to grow.

Pellini's suspect schemes give up another 500 yards to Tennessee and:

LSU FANS NEED TO BOO THAT SOB OUT OF TIGER STADIUM & DEMAND HIS IMMEDIATE FIRING/RELEASE FROM LSU. HOWL FOR HIS HEAD AT THE GAME!

Pellini's defenses have surrendered 1,085 yards in two games this year. A kiddie coach can see why LSU's defense got toasted at ASU.

Like Pellini said, "Most" people do not know what they are talking about. I see several here on this forum who do know what they are talking about!

BOTTOM LINE: Pellini inherited a TOP 5 Dee from Nick Saban, #1 Defensive Coach in all of college FB. Getting PUNKED for 500 yards is UNACCEPTABLE.
