Bo Pelini, Basically, Calls All His Detractors Stupid

We don't have millions of people watching our every move, and i'm willing to bet very few of us are making the kind of money these coaches get either.

I think fans have a reason to be critical of coaching decisions. Many fans put big money down to support these programs & should expect results.

 

No argument whatsoever with that. Critique is a huge part of the entertainment value. In a long winded kinda way, I am trying to say that when things don't seem to go one's way, immediately going to "Off With Their Heads", isn't always the most productive strategy.

 

Nice try Deceks but there's a lot of people here who need instant gratification. If LSU gets beat, my life goes on in normal fashion. Apparently there are some who have no life outside of this. I can see some initial concern, criticism. questioning, etc, but, Jeez, 4 or 5 guys have been bitching about Pelini for 7 days non stop, several times a day. If anyone makes a positive post, these losers chime in with a "Yeah but Pelini sucks and has to go". It gets real old. Give it a rest, already.

 

and you bitching about them means you're just as bad. I'd prefer to bitch about my g/f or wife. you're really no different yet you use a different vice. get over it.

I merely posted a published article in which Pelini (paraphrasing) said his detractors didn't know what they were talking about. Yeah, I have a bias in that Pelini just strikes me as being a semi-pretentious red ass (or, in other words, a humorless control-intensive guy), the kind of guy who gets all bent whenever he's questioned by an "inferior".

Bo should have just given a "no comment" when asked directly about the fans. *HE* is the one who splashed some fuel on this fire, and all I did was report it here.

 

Someone's got to call them on it.

and often times they're right even if it gets old. i know its hard for me to admit too.
