Thanks for keeping me humble. I'd like to repay you. Which Jiffy Lube do you work at?

all of them, just tip the next 500 Jiffy lube workers you see, maybe I'll be one of them.

Funny you mention that. Friend of mine works at Jiffy lube, young kid, he helps me on my race car from time to time because he is interested in mechanics. He's taking Aviation/ machining classes at night, plans to open his own aviation service company for all the crop dusting planes here in the delta. good kid.... married, got a cute lile red head girl 3 yrs old.

just young, nothing wrong with being young and having dreams, we were all there once, some still are.

So tell me again what is wrong with working at Jiffy Lube? or should he be on entitlements instead? :dis:

Or are YOU on welfare?

I shouldn't have to explain sarcasm, but, if I must: I gather that you are some kind of auto mechanical wizard from what I can glean off this site. You live in a world of extremely high tech, well beyond anything I can grasp. So, the Jiffy Lube comment was a sarcastic reference in the sense that Jiffy Lube (changing oil, which even I can do) is at the bottom of the auto mechanic totem pole. It would be like asking a 4-star chef what McDonalds he works at. See?

Saban fan, racing is my hobby. I do controls automation for a living and it is somewhat high tech, but neither is rocket science.

    I understood the sarcasm.
    have a great day

I appreciate your devotion to LSU's coaches, even though we disagree about what is poor coaching and a gametime failure to make proper defensive coaching adjustments and the consequences of such actions. So, I remind you of Ramah, huh. Okay, whatever floats your canoe. You remind me of a sassy nephew that I have to put a belt on his ass every now and then. Again, IF Pellini doesn't get the job done against Tennessee after a week off & having the talent that he does, HE NEVER WILL GET THE JOB DONE AT LSU.

This TN game will be the judge, jury & executioner of Bo Pellini's career at LSU. I, for one, want the man to succeed. However, if he doesn't, whether you guys want to admit it here or not, HALF of that stadium, including myself and my crew, will be howling for this guy's head. The radio shows will be lit up about it afterwards. The other half in the stadium won't know whether to:

    a) scream at the screamers
    b) sit in stunned silence, **** or go blind
    c) join in with the screamers
    d) get drunker and get the flok outta there
    e) all of the above

LSU is spoiled, and so am I. We like to think our defense is the best, and it was. We like to know that other teams can't come into our house and get a "W", and they didn't, last year. But this is this year! This guy Pellini scares me. There, I said it!

VT definately is ramah or his twin brother. look at how he uses the word "DEE" for defense, among other things. why not just use your regular name man?

I mean I dont think you're banned or are you?

Blah blah blah...We heard the exact same sh*t about Saban after the UAB loss.

Why do you even bother getting into LSU football? You obviously don't enjoy yourself unless it's a blowout win. You are one of those guys who depend on LSU to make them look good. Somehow, you think it reflects on you, a couch sitting nobody. You don't have a damn ounce of input into anything LSU does so who cares what you think about whether Miles is fit to coach at LSU. You are a pitiful excuse for a fan.

VT sometimes does come off to me as ramah but he also posts things that make complete sense (though wrong) and that is pretty un-ramah like

Some folk think it is heresy to acknowledge, that in reality, these are just kids playing a game, that all players on the home team are not the premier player at their position, kids may not have perfect technique, and they sometimes blow assignments. It is also wrong to accept that on any given game day, half the teams will lose, there will be upsets, that complete domination every game is an impossibility, and that the opposition is more than fodder, they are also trying to win.

I don't know what Pellini has to do and for how long he has to do it before he is entitled to any respect. Once he does have respect, how quickly can he lose it? One game, two? Many AU fans are wistfully rueing the fact that Petrino is not HC and that Borges isn't quite the OC that was believed, the new DC is a joke, the running back coach can't develop players, and I could go on. (Some of you may think that is an accurate assesment of the AU situation:hihi: )

I do not buy into the strategy that every disappointment must result in a termination or punishment. Do you divorce your spouse, send your kids to foster care, quit your jobs, or fire your employees for every preceived transgression. If some of the posters hold their personal lives to the same standards that they hold LSU football, they must be some very unhappy people.

Remember, passion knows tolerance, obsession fuels rage.
