Our local Kroger in The Woodlands (north of Houston) will have it on Aug 31st. I told my wife that she may need to camp out the night before. She thought I was joking although is planning to go to the store when it opens at 6am. My kids have been asking for Blue Bell all summer and not waiting very patiently.
I didn't realize until all of this happened that almost everyone I know strongly prefers Blue Bell over everyone else. If good beer suddenly was missing and you could only buy the crappy mass produced domestic beers for a few months, I would be anxiously awaiting the return of good beers like everyone is doing with Blue Bell.
My daughter told me to try the Kroger Premium Select Ice Cream, its close, but still not BB. Its the closest I can find.
Nope, its a way of life, a passion, a need, a want................ok, before people think Les has taken over my computer........
Clever. Every once in a while, my wife will get a pint of ice cream for me and one for her. I eat it over the course of about two weeks whereas she eats hers that night and can't understand why I only want 3-4 bites then put it away. It tastes very good but I just don't eat a bunch of ice cream.
