I watched Louisiana's Governor on TV yesterday afternoon. She certainly doesn't "show" well on the screen. A lot of fumbling and bumbling in reading her prepared statement. I was embarrassed. Put me in the cockpit of a 747 on autopilot and things are gonna run smoothly for a while. But sooner or later, my incompetence will be revealed and some stuffs gonna get phucked up. I hope there's someone more talented waiting in the wings.
His skin better be white ... we proved last election that a non-white, intelligent, and well-spoken politcian can't become governor in this state. And sadly, I won't be surprised if this state re-elects Blanco...
A neighbor of mine watched the news conference yesterday and asked me "who in the hell ran against her....must've really been a doofus." I said, "no, I think he was just the wrong color."
