Be aware that the Wal-Mart "Magnalite" is made by World Kitchen who has been manufacturing some cast aluminum pans in China under the brand name of Magnalite ( which look like the original Magnalite but are of different materials and sizes). Magnalite parts from World Kitchen do NOT fit the original Magnalite made in the USA.

I replaced my old set of magnalites about 2 years ago. Don't know when the changed occurred, but the set I got at Walmart looks, feels and cooks just like my old set. Zero difference. I'll let you know if they last another 20 years or so like my old set.
