    If that were true and the campus was hostile to minorities, you would definitely be right. But there is no chance the campus is hostile to minorities. Almost no is is really racist like they want to yell n-bombs at people and intimidate them. Those people do exist, but they are harmless.

    Also, if some honky really did smear a shit swastika, the best way to respond would be to not feed the troll and laugh it off, not do a gay ass hunger strike.

    Yes, they have more time for Tutsi's hacking up Hutu's with machetes, an egg costing 1 billion Zimbabwe dollars, and Boko Haram kidnapping girls for slavery. Africa is fucked up beyond belief, amigo.

    For all of the problems American blacks have dealt with, the silver lining of slavery is that it got them out of Africa. Without it the Western Hemisphere would be lily white. Racism is bad everywhere. But in Africa it is not just racism, but tribalism, brutality, Ebola epidemics, authoritarian governments, abject poverty unheard of in this country, and religious fanatics that commit genocide for God. Here they can be fucking President or a race-baiting college agitator. Freedom, you know.

    I'm not sure how something intended to offend Jews is taken so badly by this black guy. Some people just live to be offended and make somebody else pay for it.

    oe of my favorite theories I like to say and shock people with is that the US/Canada is the least racist place on earth. And especially waspy American whites. Not whites like the folks where I am now in Serbia who enjoy the occasional ethnic cleansing.

    If the response were directed at the offending person I would have less of a problem with it. But like most causes championed by the every white person is a racist crowd, it's not. If you have a problem with someone's views on race take it up with them, don't try to hold everyone that doesn't run to your aid responsible. And quit crying racism every single time you have a problem with a white person. Just because you're black doesn't mean that everything bad that happens to you is because of racism.

    There is more to it than that. There are also some racial tensions that need addressing. I just don't agree with this method in particular.

    Agree. Unless takes the form of discriminating against any race in terms of housing, loans, etc. Then it becomes something in need of addressing.

    There is probably at least some racism on every college campus but demanding thef the president be fired isn't going to make it go away. What is the new guy going to do that the old guy didn't.
