Sure the graph does shed Bush in a bad light....it also sheds past Presidents in a bad light too (including Democrats)...
Well, you often cite Whitewater and Vince Foster. Neither of those investigations turned up any wrongdoing by Clinton. They are not scandals. You got me, I meant Abramoff. Abramowitz is an author of a standard mathematics reference book that I must have had on my mind. Now, Abramoff is a huge Republican scandal. Look it up. Public officials taking bribes from lobbyists is far worse than a white House blow job. One was acquitted, one was not. I said scandals, not crimes. Just read the news if you think there are not scandals associated with both men. Gonzales fired people for political reasons, not for incompetence and he lied about it. Cheney has lost important documents in violation of the law and is trying to rewite the constitution to make himself not subject to congressional oversight! Both men are refusing to let their employees respond to congressional subpeonas concerning the matter. Contempt of Congress charges are likely coming, perhaps obstruction of justice. I don't know what you mean, they have denied everything. Oh, by all means, lets look at the past. Cisneros was indicted for Obstruction of Justice because he lied and conspired. I'm glad you bring that up because Cheney and Gonzales could perhaps be indicted for the same thing. Only there is no Independent Special Prosecutor any more. Do you think that Gonzales' own justice department prosecutors are going to indict him? Not a chance. But they may be found in comtempt of Congress.
Where did I site that in this thread? I wish you and superfan would quit assuming or making up stories! Thats what I thought, I know who he is and all about it and have no problems with this. Exactly, how is that justice? Everyone knows they both committed the same crimes without the same result. Very simple, It still isn't a crime to fire people. Presidents fire people and pardon people all the time and the only people that have any problems with it is on the opposite side. So maybe superfan will come after you because you already have them guilty? Like you said above one is guilty and the other two are innocent so far. If it is proven without the shadow of a doubt I have no problem with them being punished as long as the dems and republicans are treated the same.
I don't value your opinion especially after your peanut butter story. At least grow up and be a man about things! Well its too bad you don't read any of Red's post since they are one sided. I'm also smart enough to realize that red isn't an independent or moderate because he only criticizes the right. You are both full of crap, I can't believe how much bull crap you 2 cause in this forum and its mostly my fault lately trying to reason with the confused. Now that we are through with our meaningless conversation you are on my ignore list. Have a happy 4th:usaflagwa
I still don't know that Kerry would've straight up pulled us out of Iraq. But at the same time, I feel fairly certain that had that been the case, we'd most definitely be paying the grave consequences of such a move, as in allowing the country to become a terrorist free-for-all. As for the stalled war, Bush isn't the only one to blame there. We're essentially fighting this war with almost both arms tied behind our backs and it's all due to politics. Sadly, those politics are being played within the military ranks, as well. Let us do our damn job. We're the warfighters, not the politicians up on the Hill. As for Gore, well, I think part of the reason I have a job is because he's not President, but that's a different story altogether. I definitely feel that Bush was the better option over Gore, especially with regards to the response to 9/11. I just can't see Gore taking the reins of that situation in the same way Bush did.
