Not a bust but a "shoulda been recruited" Reggie Torbor, awesome player at Auburn and a heck of an NFL'er for some time now. His mom told me he wasn't even approached by LSU. Not sure if that is true, but if it is then quite a missed player. Not sure about Xavier, I think with the hype surrounding him he'd have a hard time living up to it, but I hope he contributes a little more.

Speaking of Auburn, that Brandon Jacobs that they 'stole from our backyard' didn't do a whole heck of a lot. I know the situation with the depth chart, but still, I revelled in the fact that they thought they stole some second coming from us, only to move him to LB.

Nah, can't call him a bust. Even if he never turns into a superstar in Football, he rips up the track, so getting him here was still a good thing for the school.

    was he highly rated?

he barely touched the field. there were many other "good" backs on those curley teams, but its hard to know if they were good with that team. james jaquet, germaine williams, robert toomer, and---im missing one more---a good kickoff returner---david _____.

Raney Davis. He went to my high school. He was eiter a 3 or 4 star in the class of 99. Two weeks before graduation he got expelled from school for pulling his wang out and chasing another kid around with it.

David Butler. I went to HS with him. He was a beast at S. Terrebonne, didn't amount to much at LSU though.

nah, you're mistaken. He transferred to Southern Ill. and plays for the Giants. He's their power back. He couldn't get enough playing time behind CW and RB.
