NO WAY Florida State is top 5 man... OR OU probably... but especially Florida St... they don't have a QB on their team who has even taken a snap.
Media love, media love. I'm not too hyped on FSU, but the wanna-be English majors, the ones who picked Tennessee to win the SEC, love Bowden and will figure they're due (as if they really did disappeared). Come Labor Day night, ABC will have the country thinking the Miami-FSU game IS the Rose Bowl. (But OU will be there. Come December, I suspect Mac Brown will be back on TV begging)
LSU football is not a rare china shop, one sneeze and it goes to pieces. Saban set up the talent pool and Miles is pumping that well. The best talent is staying here and we are taking the best from other states. As much I dislike Amalabala, in their power of the 70's, they wore the bulleye with a swagger and dared anyone to beat them. That has to be a rush for a player, because it's pretty cool as a fan knowing my team is going to ground up your team. NC talk is OK so long as it doesn't take away from the next game.
