Well, everyone got burned in the WVA game including him. LSU didn't play a bunch of high caliber passing teams did they?

terrible day for LSU and, mostly, for Tyrann Mathieu. Like many of you I am disgusted with him because you know damn good and well that he was given every opportunity to straighten himself out. That said, the kid watched his father gun down his mother. I just hate to see talent wasted like this. I pray that he get's his act together and plays somewhere else.

The guy roams the field....you are NOT allowed to that in the NFL. So scratch that attribute off the check list. The ONLY reason he was able to do that was what analysts said all year, "LSU has such a great secondary and defense that if the guy takes a chance and comes up empty, it doesn't matter." Good Luck on MOST teams having the luxury of free lancing.

I dont feel sorry for him at all, he had it all and a bright future. Life runs over people some times, but he had every opportunity some arent afforded.

C'mon man, no one is saying that. The dude is a great football player and we will miss him. All I said was he wasn't that great in coverage. My opinion. I'm not sure what you see but I don't see NFL caliber coverage skills, not even close. Don't take this stuff so personal.

Hey guy, you lied about the Tennessee game and just prove what an idiot you are in post after post. Take up curling or something...more your speed!

Oh, and LSU gave up 463 passing yards in the WVA game. Perhaps, you should watch a game before you give an uninformed opinion!
