We watched recording last night but it was screwed up. Only saw first 5 mins and last 15. What exactly was the PoV competition? What's the bunny suits all about? Why were they dumping buckets on their heads?

Each week there is a Head of household (HOH) competition. The winner gets to nominate two players for eviction. After two are "Put up" there is a power of veto competition (POV). The winner can take one off of the "Block" which usually throws the strategizing of the house out of kilter and is seldom used unless someone on the block wins it.

Winning HOH can make enemies too so some purposefully "Throw" the competition in the beginning weeks of the game. The best two players (IMO) Will and Boogie, threw many.

What's fun is that the housemates are cut-off from any outside communication and their life in the house becomes so surreal that often they'll get involved, knowing they're significant others can see.
Also, the scheming, back-stabbing, deceit, double alliances that goe on is really a good picture of how too many people really are in life.

My wife used to say how bad they were but I told her I've seen this in the school setting (A teacher will come into my office and bad-mouth another then minutes later, be in the teachers' lounge all buddy buddy). I've also seen it even in a silly softball rec league with coaches in general and especially when it comes to drafting 8, 9 10 year old girls and picking All Stars. :dis:

If you watch for a couple of weeks it's hard not to keep on. It's a family affair over here and though this BB isn't AS good, it's still pretty good and getting more interesting.

Bunny suits? I missed that and do not know.

The questions put to the players were about how much time they were willing to do certain things, i.e. wear a bunny suit, dump chit on their heads, eat slop. The lowest "bidder" in each round was eliminated and the "winners" have to comply. The bunny suits are on for 5 days, bucket o' chit is whenever they hear the buzzer for some ridiculous amount of days, eating slop is for the next 30 days.

Biggest wow was what amount of the "winner's money" would they be willing to give up. Jen put up $250k and "won"............

Never. I do however find the show occasionally fascinating particularly how well Evil Dick is so capable of manipulating the much younger and more naive members. Can't get hooked though with so much crying........

America's player is a wimp. Freakin' bites his nails every time he gets called out/exposed. I'd like to give a good yank on thos n***** rings of his.
