The zipper sippers keep talking about how they can’t consider the SEC because they don’t want to associate with cheaters - but they are joining the conference with Kiffen lead USC. And they have the nerve to tell jokes about Aggies!! What a bunch of clowns?
Since the 16-team mega conferences appear inevitable in the next few years, who does the SEC add to go with A&M? We shouldn't have to settle for the Big 12 or Big East's sloppy seconds, but it seems the ACC would try to block being raided as they've raised the price for schools to leave. That seems to eliminate FSU and Virginia Tech, two schools I wouldn't mind taking. My choices based on the current landscape would be TCU, Missouri (for the academics of course), and UCF (an up-and-coming program and being able to see a game in Orlando every other year would be nice).
Oklahoma and Texas don't want to be a little fish in a big pond. They go to the PAC and immediately jump to the top. If they join the SEC they immediately go to the middle. The aggies are a solid team and a nice addition. I'd expect another solid team to join, but not a top ten type team.
How can this be? ESPN just said that the Big 12 is ready to challenge the SEC for college football supremacy!
I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC added just one. Quality over quantity.:thumb: EDIT: One more after A&M that is
What? You mean the same ESPN that is calling the Oklahoma QB a Heisman contender because of a FSU performance where he had 2 picks? Say it isn't so!
