Week 6 Conference Power Rankings - Stats & Info Blog - ESPN

Kind of amusing, although clearly they are looking at the conferences top to bottom. The SEC has more teams at the top, but Florida's fall hurt the conference. In the article, the phrase "The Big 10 closed the gap on the Big 12 and the SEC"....made me chuckle. The Big 10 sucks.

Illinois and Michigan both might be 7-5 by year's end.

    Pretenders.

Total pretenders after Wisconsin. Heck, the coaches poll even has Penn State at 25th. Totally frauduent.

In the end the SEC will have some pretenders too though. Already do, actually.

I suppose you are right. In the end, someone has to fill out spots 16-25 in the rankings......

Let's not forget Florida held the #12 spot and South Carolina the #10 one for a time.

A number of SEC teams do seem to have fallen off in quality this year...Florida, Kentucky, Miss State, Ole Miss...Georgia and S Carolina were overrated a little.

There's a big gap between LSU, Bama Arky and the rest.

Of those teams you mentioned to have dropped off.....who is the biggest surprise? Kentucky just outright stinks. Florida....without their QB. Is it MSU?

Wisconsin will win the Big 10, IMO.
