Actually even Aty Gen Barr said Stone deserved conviction and should serve the sentence. Whatever you think of the Mueller investigation Stone broke several laws and was convicted.

Plenty of people lie to congress and never go to jail.

I assume since lying is a jailable offense Bill and Hillary should be in jail among many many others, right?

So you are better positioned than the Attorney General of the United States to make that determination? I’m impressed. You must really be something

I wouldn’t argue with that but you need to have them indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced. Can you do that?

I read an op-Ed written by Jonathan Turley that I agree with. Stone should have gotten a new trial when the bias of the jury foreman became known but the optics of this doesn’t help with the independents

“As Attorney General William Barr has said, this was a “righteous prosecution” and Stone was correctly convicted and correctly sentenced to 40 months in prison. President Trumpdid not give his confidant a pardon but rather a commutation, so Stone is still a convicted felon. However, Trump should have left this decision to his attorney general. In addition to Stone being a friend and political ally, Trump was implicated in those allegations against Stone. While there was never any evidence linking Trump to the leaking of hacked emails, he has an obvious conflict of interest in the case“

Even if accurate what does that have to do with Stone?

The same DOJ that let Comey and countless others go un-prosecuted for classified leaks to the press...
