I'm sure there are people on this board that have decent connections within the LSU community. My question is, is there any indication that anyone other than Alleva wants Jimbo to be the next coach?

I'll tell ya guys, I'm thinking the biggest stumbling block with Jimbo is his son. Since he is now divorced from the road ho and shares some kind of custody it wont be easy to pry him away from that situation. His son has a rare and serious medical condition and unless the road ho is looking for fresh meat she isn't moving to BR from her cushy life and endless supply of dick. Jimbo is very close to his ailing son and this might very well be the biggest issue facing his decision.
It seems to me that Alleva has burned up options A and B, and now is in "oh shit" mode. I hope I'm wrong, an announcement probably wouldn't come before Monday anyway since the candidates all have games this weekend. Does Jimbo want to fire Aranda and replace him with Pruitt? If so I take back anything good I've ever said about him.
So the LSU hierarchy turned Fisher down because he won't agree to their DC? Thus making the DC far more the priority than the HC. Didn't happen.
