i have seen examples of companies bend over for china for years. any time you even make a map with taiwan on it, they lose their shit. speaking of taiwan, andrew yang is from taiwan, or his parents are. if he makes the general election vs trump the chinese effort to influence the election will be literally a million times stronger than russia's. the NBA being a pussy is nothing new. our own government wont have official diplomatic relations with taiwan. only like a handful of countries does. like if you are in taiwan and lose your US passport, you dont go to the embassy like a normal place, you go to some american office with some other stupid name that pretends not to be the embassy to keep china from complaining. its the embassy, there are american security there, they do all the normal embassy for those that do not know, taiwan is ABSOLUTELY an independent country. different money, their own border control and visa policy, everything clearly and obviously independent. the whole world pretendds this is not true so they dont piss off china. china is the PRC, people's republic, taiwan is the ROC, republic of china. both claim to be the real china. the new top gun movie had to remove a taiwan flag from tom cruises leather aviator jacket. this shit happens all the time.
