Don't know what tread you are reading Ray but it's all over this site. To me even if one fool here mentions Aranda's defense as our problem they are clueless.
We have a real General in charge of our offense. I call him General Malaise. When the team takes much longer on average to run plays than other teams, when the team frequently has to snap the ball with just one or two seconds left on the clock, when the team so frequently has to call time out because the play hasn't come in on time, etc., the confidence level on offense drops because the entire enterprise becomes lackadaisical. There's no eagerness to get to the line and get the offense rolling. This offense doesn't just need to mix in more passes.... I don't think our percentage of passes is dramatically less than average.... what it needs is a GOOD KICK IN THE ASS. What it needs is to stop pussyfooting. What it needs is to stop this slow down crap that translates into inaction and then to lack of desire. What it needs is to hustle to the line and start running as many snaps as possible, with plays based on timing and more automatic execution. And, speaking of execution, as Lee Corso once said, execution of certain individuals seems like a good idea right about now.

No one said defense is the problem, what they said is defense hasn't been great. No one said Aranda isn't a great DC, they're saying he doesn't have the D there yet. Everyone acknowledged that he doesn’t have his players yet and that he hasn't had much time. EVERYONE HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT!!!!
