Well if we pick enough they just might kick to Green....... It may be considered a smart move, but I still think you guys should wear the pink jerseys......lol. BTW how is Pro doing? Will he heal up and be back to form next year? Sure did hate to see him go down, I'm sure I speak for many around here that hope he gets recovers well and we can see him next year in Baton Rouge.
Maybe it is YOU who does not understand. This is football dammit, you punt the ball to the return guy, that is how it's done. There is no punting to the sidelines... where did this crap come from? As far as I know, LSU always punts to the return guy. I think it's weak when a top 25 team feels the need to punt to the sidelines... I can understand someone like App State, UNT or State doing this, but surely not Bama? :hihi: On the other hand CJ and our other special teams players are gamers and I doubt that they would even WANT to punt away, you ever see CJ after a punt or a fg? I like his intensity.
Dude, you're a moron, and you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. It's true that Green hasn't played WR as much this year as last, but that's a testament to the other guys we have at that position. Go ahead and watch the Capital One Bowl from last year and then come back and try to even type that Green is an average WR. And although he's never lined up at QB, he's taken hand offs on end arounds plenty of times, and always does quite nicely. Nothing against Prothro, he's a great player...but I'll take Skyler any day. So researcheth and thinketh before you typeth.
I agree that Green is a slightly above average WR, but we are talking punt/kickoff returns here. Prothro is a better WR, but he can't touch Green when it comes to returns.
