LSU would because Miles prefers to defend from somewhere inside the opponent's own territory. Kick away from #5 and give us the field position. It's good for LSU either way.
Maybe LSU would kick to Pro, we'll never know, but it's easy to say that they would since he's hurt. As for Bama not kicking to Green, it's just smart football. Our defense is amazing so why give LSU a chance to score on special teams instead of letting our defense do what they do best? LSU fans can get upset by Bama not kicking to Green but the smart ones who know anything about football understand the move. And Redelephants, I was only saying "if" Pro was still playing because I wanted to make a point that kicking to him wouldn't be a very smart move either. I'm not saying we would beat LSU if we had Pro or anything.
I agree, Prothro is better than Green, there is no comparison. Prothro is not only a punt and kick return threat but he is also an amazing WR, much better than Green could ever think of being. Not only that but he's also a threat from behind center and as a RB, I've never seen Green do much from QB or RB. Green is just a dangerous PR and KR and an average WR...Prothro is much more than that.
