It may come as a surprise, but the best team I saw Saturday was Utah. I know they lost to Florida, but they should have won the game. Twice they got stopped inside the five and then threw an interception in the end zone to basically end the game. It's no big secret that there is a huge gap in talent between Utah and the traditional powerhouse programs, but the Utes could play with any team in the country and beat most of them. It's mindboggling when you consider Utah recently finished with the 29th recruiting class in the country - its highest ranking in school history. They are extremely well coached, disciplined and gave the Gators fits on both sides of the ball. The offense ran a lot of different formations, along with a lot of shifting, and Florida was completely confused. Defensively, they did a lot of shifting and blitzed from a number of different angles and caused problems all night long. There is no question Utah is the best one-loss team in the country and clearly a solid top-10 team.
Georgia definitely looked very good. I think a lot of people thought they would have a drop off, but not the case at all.
