best team of all time?

    I think that is a case of mental delusion, similar to his claim as a co champion in 2003.

    That would totally destroy the credibility of the AP poll. Good! It would deserve it. Has anyone noticed that AP lists LSU as #6 while USA Today lists the Tigers as #5. That is fairly typical. The AP poll is by sports writers, and the USA Today poll is by the coaches. The coaches poll usually gives LSU a higher ranking than the sports writers. I have always valued the opinion of coaches more than I do that of the sports writers.

    Me either... they beat the crap out of Georgia. So if USC was the best team of all time going into the game.... doesn't that mean that Texas is best team of all time now. Where are the comparisons now?
