Ruffinos for me hands down. Everytime I go home after Jones Creek Cafe and softshell crab Po-Boy and some Gumbo, next day Ruffinos.

That crab cake appetizer they have is fantastic.

    Man I miss home sometimes.

I live just around the corner from Jones Creek Cafe...the idea of the 16 oz. Charles Alexander T-bone and Tiger Fries has got my mouth watering right now, just thinking about it.

I haven't been to DiGiulio Brothers in a couple of years. I can't remember how many times I would have stopped there if the parking lot hadn't already been full. One of the owners, Fred DiGiulio retired a few years ago to fish for speckled trout and redfish at his camp in Cocodrie and his son runs the place now. Fred's brother John is a great cook but he is a lawyer and I don't think he ever was that much involved in the food at the restaurant.

They used to have a pizza that was second only to Fleur de Lis in Baton Rouge. (sorry Pastime lovers)

I have only eaten at Kiva's once and I thought it was very mediocre.
