Anybody know where to get good gyros in Metairie/NOLA? I usually get my gyro fix at Byblos Market, but I'm always looking for another source for variety. The greek place in the Clearview Mall is pretty good. Phonecia restaurant makes great gyro but it is a sit-down restaurant. Anyone?

Akasha market behind Reggies is awesome. It always gets me on the back 9 at LSU. Smells so good.

Roul’s makes some damn good burgers too. At the north gates next to the bike shop. You get a huge burger with grilled chicken and grilled shrimp on it.

AM Mart at Nicholson and Lee. After going there 2 or 3 times, the girls know you by name. Awesome poboys.

My next door neighbor is named jai row. She spells it Jarreau

In the 80's Corey owned the Rainbow Market on Gardere Lane., He sold it and opened the American Market on the corner of Nicholson and Lee Dr. I don't know the name of the AM owners now but they do have great poboys
